Pregnancy Progression Project

After 39 weeks, I finally reached the end of my pregnancy. As many of you know, in the past weeks I have been documenting my progress by taking weekly pictures of my bump next to a homemade chalkboard (idea curtsy of Jessica Garvin at the Little Baby Garvin blog). I have compiled all the progression pictures into one post so everyone can easily see the transformation! Please enjoy.

Unfortunately, I started slacking on this project toward the end of my pregnancy. The above week, 32 weeks, was the last week I documented with the chalkboard. Below are miscellaneous pictures taken in the following weeks up until an hour before giving birth.

Shower-Q

Although I've never been a fan of traditional baby showers, I do like to take advantage of any excuse to throw a party! That's why, with the help of my dad and a couple girlfriends, I hosted a co-ed, poolside barbecue to celebrate the baby.

The "Shower-Q" had a red, white, and blue theme since my due date was the week of the Fourth of July. We invited friends and family from both Ryan and my sides. I made regional BBQ inspired by places Ryan and I have visited together and I even created my first dessert table. Unfortunately, I totally slacked on taking photos. The ones below are curtsy of my friend, Chelsea, thank God for her!
