Week 31

How far along? 31 Weeks
Baby is the size of a... pineapple. The baby is about 2.5 - 3.8 lbs and 15.2 - 16.7 in
Total weight gain: 14.4 pounds
Maternity clothes? Maternity jeans--when I actually wear them. Its getting pretty hot down here, and too uncomfortable to wear jeans.
Stretch marks? Not a single one that I can see!
Sleep: Sleep is good
Best moment this week: My NOLA family flying in to spend some time with the Florida family on the beach. Can you say good food, better company, fun hats for the Kentucky Derby and Catamaran sailing? I love going home.
Miss Anything? Boozing! It would have been so much better to watch the Derby with a mint julep in my hand.
Movement: Baby has been quiet during the day and very active at night.
Food cravings: Stonewood's creme brulee. Unfortunately, they still haven't put it back on the menu...
Anything making you queasy or sick: No
Gender: Don't know for sure, but if I have a boy, my uncle wants me to name him "Dickie Ray," and if I have a girl, my aunt wants me to name her anything with a "comma-to-da-top" (as you can imagine, my aunt and uncle have a very peculiar sense of humor).
Labor Signs: No
Symptoms: Feeling lethargic and having lots of lower back pain.
Belly Button in or out? Flat
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy
Looking forward to: My first Mother's Day ever next week!
NOTE: I got new chalk this week, it is very faint in this picture. I'm hoping that is because I need to wear down the tips a bit... It probably wouldn't hurt to put a new layer of chalk board paint on my board either. Maybe after all the traveling is done we'll make a new one all together; I have been wanting a white one anyway.

After I found out about the baby, I started following the Little Baby Garvin blog. The author, Jessica Garvin, is an absolutely beautiful girl who has graciously shared her experience throughout her pregnancy with her daughter, Harper. Jessica has inspired me to embrace this time of my life; she has also documented her pregnancy progression in a unique way that I couldn't help but do my own version!
